Our team designed a yo-yo with thre separate injection molded parts and one thermoformed part. Our yo-yo was inspired by out shared interest in Chicken and waffles. All molds were machined by us from aluminum blanks, 4”x 4”x 1.5”. Injection molded parts were be made from polypropylene (PP) with color additives of our choice. Thermoformed parts were be made from clear 5"x5" ‘PETG’ sheets with thickness of 0.030” with custom molds.
