About Me
I'm a Ph.D. student at Boston University and a surgical robotics researcher in the Morphable Biorobotics Laboratory. I actively research how robotics can be used to create a positive social impact through assistance in everyday tasks. Some of my work includes geometry sensing grippers, soft robotics, and broader systems design.
I am passionate about expanding education and technology to low-income students. For the past three years, I have been a teaching assistant for Interphase EDGE, an academic summer program for underrepresented and low-income students at MIT. I have also been a shop mentor for Metropolis, The Deep, and the Laboratory of Manufacturing Production (LMP).
Outside of work, I am a recreational hiker and runner. I also love to grill and smoke brisket.Â
